Central Bangkok Reaches New High Record In Prices
Property prices have indeed reached a new record in the first half of 2014. Land prices for instance, between BTS Nana and Ekkamai, have increased substantially up to THB1.8M per sq.w.
Kitisak Jampathippong, Chief Executive of real estate agency Century 21 Thailand, told reporters: “Land prices in this area have risen significantly, and by a higher percentage than those in other locations, as there are new consecutive developments like EmQuartier (new shopping mall) upcoming in the Phrom Phong area.”
Moreover, a plot of land on Sukhumvit 24 (Phrom Phong BTS) was recently sold at the record price of THB2 million per sq.w, highest selling price ever found in the Kingdom!
More specifically, plots of land in the area of Thong Lo-Ekkamai are selling between THB1.2 and THB1.8 million per sq.w, followed by Phaya Thai-Phahon Yothin-Sanam Pao-Saphan Kwai where lands prices can reach between THB750,000 up to THB850,000 on average.
Kitisak affirmed: “Phloenchit Road and lower Sukhumvit will continue to be prime locations as these are popular with expats and many offices.”
