Singaporean Buyers Still Keen On Thai Real Estate
In fact, Singaporean property investors seem not to be put off by the recent Thai military coup as last weekend’s Thailand Property Show was a huge success.
Focusing on Real Estate opportunities in Bangkok, Pattaya and Pukhet, the event was organized by PropertyGuru Group and its online property portal DDproperty.com.
The main speech presentation was held by His Excellency Khun Marut Jitpatima, Thailand’s Ambassador to Singapore. He basically affirmed that business and customers’ confidence have returned to the Kingdom after the Royal Thai Army took power in May.
Origin Property is one of the developers that attracted most attention from property buyers, especially with its brand new Bangkok project ‘Villa LaSalle’ in Sukhumvit Soi 105 – BTS Bearing. Perry Chong, Vice President of International Sales and Marketing, told PropertyGuru: “I’m very pleased with the response to our projects at the Thailand Property Show. Singaporeans are obviously concerned about the situation in Thailand, but they’re asking good questions and understand the good value that our projects can offer.”
The project will not be launched before August 2014 here in Bangkok and thus, Singaporean investors could enjoy attractive pre-sale prices of about 66,000THB/SQM for a partially furnished 25SQM unit within the 358-unit 8-storey project condominium.
Thailand Property Show held in Singapore already showed that even more buyers are keen on purchasing condos at the far ends of BTS lines – for instance BTS Udom Suk to Bearing or BTS Ari up to Mo Chit.
